Exelon:
Online Sustainability Report

 

Exelon Corporation is the nation’s largest utility company, serving more than 10 million customers through six fully regulated transmission and distribution utilities — ACE, BGE, ComEd, DPL, PECO and Pepco. The Exelon Sustainability Report is a detailed online document which involves visual translation of complex ideas, charts, progress and status. While the strategy is to design within the framework of the Exelon brand identity, the goal is the convey “easy to digest” information.

This project has had great success while I have been leading the design over the past decade. It is the most utilized communication piece that Exelon creates each year and is seen as the go-to source of company information. It is leveraged both internally and externally, continues to be the number one download on their website each year, and has been a key piece for everything from employee recruitment to mergers and acquisitions. A strict attention to detail and smart understanding of sustainability has been key to successfully delivering this project year after year.

Deliverables: Online Sustainability Report (~150 pages), design of all graphics, charts and layout, photography coordination, project management from concept through production including all interactions with client and their sustainability consultants

Following Company Split

 

A strategic company split finalized in 2022 formed two independent, world-class companies and created an opportunity to renew and refresh the visual identity of Exelon and their operating companies. I have been able to support them through the split by navigating and applying the newly refreshed brand to not only Exelon’s Sustainability Report but also an Electric Vehicle Brochure and additional support materials.
